Accounting firm Ernst & Young LLP, which recently occupied space in downtown San Diego, signed a 10-year lease agreement to occupy 25,646 square feet on the third and fifth floors at 4370 La Jolla Village Drive in nearby Universal City, Calif.

The transaction was valued at approximately $10.8 million.

The building is part of the six-building, 17-acre office and retail complex known as The Plaza at La Jolla Village.

The Plaza at La Jolla Village includes 815,000 square feet of office space complemented by two luxury hotels, two shopping malls, several restaurants, a fitness center and numerous savings and banking institutions. Direct freeway access is available to all of San Diego County via Interstate 805, Interstate 5 and Highway 52. Other prominent tenants of the project include Morgan Stanley, Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch and Charles Schwab.
