Developer dumps Norwood Park South

CB Richard Ellis/Whittier Partners has negotiated the sale of Norwood Park South, a three-building, 147,300-square-foot office park in Norwood, Mass. The value of the transaction was $21.4 million. National Development, one of the largest real estate developers in Massachusetts, sold the property to Brookwood Financial Partners LP, a Beverly, Mass.-based private equity firm. The three two-story buildings are located at 220, 315 and 320 Norwood Park South. The office park was 97 percent leased at the time of sale and includes tenants such as Baxter Healthcare Corp., Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. and The Premier Insurance Co. of Massachusetts, a Travelers company, among others.
