New TV show gets inside home buyer experience

Builder Homesite, a consortium of 35 of the nation's largest home builders, is launching a new television show to showcase new-home communities and manufacturer's products. The show, "New Home Lifestyles," is being piloted in Orlando, Fla., with plans to expand into other markets in the coming months. Each 30-minute show features profiles of several new-home buyer experiences, and provides information about a builder's personal philosophy and how specific problems were solved for that client. Viewers learn about the community where the home is located, and meet manufacturers who can provide information on specific products. The show's host is Robin Hartl, a popular and nationally recognized home improvement expert, and former host of the "Hometime" television show.
