Long-term mortgage interest rates inched lower on Thursday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield jumped to 4.9 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average edged up to 6.02 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate increased to 5.71 percent. The 1-year adjustable was unchanged at 5.08 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield rose to 4.97 percent.
