REBNY teams up with news channel to launch real estate site includes broker listings, real estate reports

The Real Estate Board of New York and local 24-hour news channel NY1 News have teamed up to launch a real estate listings and information site, The site was formerly known as, and that site now redirects to the new site. It includes listings for more than 10,000 properties in New York City submitted by REBNY member brokers and now adds real estate reports from NY1 News. In the 10 days after its launch, the new site had amassed about 700,000 page views, according to a REBNY announcement Friday. Listings are updated hourly and link directly to the broker selling or renting the property, the trade group said. The site is now powered by LPS Real Estate Group Inc. New features include Walk Scores and a "New to Market" scroller on the site's home page. Prospective buyers can also set up email alerts to notify them of price changes on saved properties.
