Rental site Zumper readies mobile app for Android Wear

Rental site Zumper, fresh off a third-place finish at Realogy's "FWD" startup pitch competition, will be ready for writswatches and other wearable devices running Android Wear when the operating system is released in the next few weeks. Android Wear is an operating system that allows smart watches and other wearable devices being developed by LG, Samsung and Motorola to be paired with smartphones running on the Android 4.3 operating system or higher. Zumper's Android app, which is getting a shoutout at Google's I/O developer conference today, has been updated to push new listings that hit the market in consumers' target neighborhoods to Android Wear devices in real time, said Zumper CEO Anthemos Georgiades.
