Denver-based real estate firm Flourish Collective is preparing to make history with its upcoming event, the “World’s Longest Open House,” a 72-hour nonstop showcase, the firm announced recently.
The event will run from March 14 to March 17 (8 a.m. to 8 a.m. MST) at 1392 West Caley Avenue in Littleton, Colorado.
Flourish Collective’s record-breaking attempt joins a growing movement of impact-driven open houses and quicker sales. Notably, Kyle Olson has been recognized by the National Association of Realtors (NAR) for his “Longest Open House” event in Fargo, North Dakota, which benefits Alzheimer’s research. His 2024 open house lasted for 68 hours.
Meanwhile, companies such as 72Sold are working to redefine real estate timelines by marketing homes in eight-day periods and successfully selling properties ranging from $100,000 to over $10 million.
Flourish Collective’s event will not only attempt to break the Guinness World Record of a 68-hour open house but also support a mission-driven cause that the firm has championed for over a decade. With its tagline, “72 Hours to Shorten the Walk and Stock the Shelves,” the open house aims to make both a global and local impact by raising $25,000 for Blood:Water, an organization funding clean water initiatives in sub-Saharan Africa, and collecting 2,500 pounds of food and toiletries to stock the shelves of Food Bank of the Rockies and Doctor’s Care, among other local nonprofits supporting Colorado families.

Dave Umphress | Broker-owner of Flourish Collective
“The purpose of business is to create the world that you dream of, and we dream of a world where barriers to human flourishing are not present,” Dave Umphress, broker-owner of Flourish Collective, said in an interview with Inman. “We can remove barriers, and that’s what we wake up and aim to do every day.”
The site of the upcoming event is located in Windermere Gardens, one of Littleton’s most desirable zip codes, 80210. The luxury estate, listed at nearly $1.3 million, has been completely remodeled since it was built in 1939.
The home’s seller has fully supported Flourish Collective’s efforts by allowing the event to be hosted at the property, which is currently occupied.
Attendees of the nonstop open house can look forward to a variety of networking and family-friendly experiences throughout the 72-hour event, including an exclusive broker mastermind, the property’s first-look event, a story hour and kids’ event, and surprise pop-up experiences and special guests throughout the weekend.
Flourish has created multiple ways for people to contribute and get involved.
Monetary donations will go directly to Blood:Water via an online platform, while collection boxes will be available at the open house for food and toiletries. Those who donate or contribute will be entered to win prizes, including a luxury date night at Angelo’s Taverna, a five-night stay in Cabo San Lucas and more.
To ensure official Guinness World Records verification, the entire event will be live-streamed on YouTube.
“We will keep doing this every year. It’s a great way to raise awareness and raise funds for things we care about,” Umphress said.
