Douglas Elliman launches Elliman Yachts, expanding into yacht brokerage and charters as it targets ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Douglas Elliman Inc., parent of Douglas Elliman Realty, has launched Elliman Yachts, a new division aimed at serving boating enthusiasts and ultra-high-net-worth clients with a more integrated luxury lifestyle offering.

The initiative is being rolled out through a strategic partnership with Royal Yacht International, a fast-growing boutique brokerage, and debuted in Florida on Thursday alongside the Palm Beach International Boat Show.

“Elliman Yachts reflects how today’s ultra-high-net-worth clients actually live — across waterfront homes, global destinations, and on the water,” Michael S. Liebowitz, President and CEO of Douglas Elliman Inc., said in a statement. “This offering will allow us to add meaningful value in a category where guidance, discretion, and insight truly matter.”

Elliman Yachts will provide yacht acquisition advisory, brokerage services and bespoke charter experiences on a global scale, extending the firm’s reach beyond real estate into adjacent luxury categories. The launch reinforces Elliman’s broader push to innovate across key coastal markets where it already maintains a strong presence throughout the U.S. and in St. Barts and the South of France.

The timing of Douglas Elliman’s move into yachting signals a calculated bet on where ultra-high-net-worth demand is heading. The global luxury yacht market — valued at more than $11 billion in 2025 and projected to nearly double by 2035 — is in one of its most active growth cycles in decades, with shipyards operating near capacity and a new-build pipeline exceeding $15 billion.

That demand is increasingly being shaped by a younger, experience-driven buyer. Rather than chasing status alone, many are prioritizing mobility, privacy and personalization. Those buyers are also interested in long-range cruising, wellness-focused escapes and fully customized floating residences.

“Elliman Yachts allows us to meet our clients where their passions already exist, while expanding our ability to serve as trusted advisors across the most meaningful lifestyle assets in their lives,” Dan Goodstadt, a licensed yacht salesperson and licensed real estate salesperson with Douglas Elliman in Miami, said in a statement.

Through Elliman Yachts and its strategic partnership with a third-party brokerage, Douglas Elliman can now guide clients across both real estate and maritime transactions. The move also builds on Elliman’s broader ecosystem of specialized divisions tailored to affluent clientele, including Sports & Entertainment, Equestrian, Farm & Ranch, and Estate, Trust & Probate.
