Two Realtor associations in Mississippi have formed a joint venture, BuyInMississippi.com LLC, to operate a public-facing website with the goal of providing the public with a single source of listings from around the state.
BuyInMississippi.com is jointly owned by the Jackson Association of Realtors and the Northwest Mississippi Association of Realtors, and is currently receiving listing from half of the state’s 20 Realtor associations. The site relies on advertising to recover costs associated with running it.
In addition to its two owners, members of eight other associations are providing listings to the site: Golden Triangle Association of Realtors, Gulf Coast Association of Realtors, Hattiesburg Area Association of Realtors, Laurel Board of Realtors, Meridian Board of Realtors, North Central Mississippi Board of Realtors, and Northeast Mississippi Board of Realtors.
