Some Southwest Florida brokers say that the adoption of a new multiple listing service (MLS) system could make coordination between some agents more challenging in the near future, news-press.com reported.
While three local Realtor associations in the region have recently migrated their listings to the CoreLogic Matrix system, another — Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach — chose to stick with its old system, according to news-press.com.
Because the systems aren’t fully synched, agents must either sign up for the Greater Fort Myers MLS and one of the three others, or use a slower database that aggregates listings from all four MLSs, in order to easily access all listings in the region.
