In a huge victory for short-term rental service Airbnb, a New York City administrative law panel reversed a decision that had previously ruled against a user for violating a city code that governs transient hotels, DNAinfo New York reports.
“This is a clear victory for the sharing community,” Airbnb wrote in a blog post. “We are proud of our hosts and guests in New York and around the world, and we are excited for a future in which the sharing economy is here to stay.”
