The premier event for luxury agents and brokers

Brothers Josh and Matt Altman, the Hilton & Hyland team who do more than $40 million in annual sales in front of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing LA” cameras, tell Forbes that it’s best to just “ignore the cameras” and do what they do best — close deals.

“The difference between our realty show and others, is that our show consists of real business and real-life deals … if we look bad on the show it can really affect our business,” the brothers say.

That’s apparently the worry of several New York brokerages that reportedly frown on agents appearing on reality shows. Keller Williams NYC recently cited “Million Dollar Listing New York” as a reason for dropping “Million Dollar Luis” Ortiz. Source: forbes.com.
