Crisp joins Cole in pleading guilty in mortgage fraud case

Prosecutors are winding down a massive mortgage fraud case in California’s Central Valley involving Crisp & Cole Real Estate, with David Crisp joining his partner, former real estate broker Carl Cole, and a dozen other defendants, who have entered guilty pleas.

Crisp and his wife, Jennifer, will appear in court Monday at a change-of-plea hearing, federal prosecutors told BakersfieldNow.com. He faces up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine. Source: bakersfieldnow.com
