Deaf since birth, native Brooklynite Jackie Roth has become one of Douglas Elliman’s top agents, the Daily News reports.

Once laughed at for her real estate aspirations, she’s now launching a division at Douglas Elliman that will cater to clients with disabilities. Her team is also reportedly starting a nationwide network to help buyers and renters with disabilities.

“I want to be successful, I want to be a producer, but I also want to better the odds for people like me,” Roth told the Daily News.
