Age is a good predictor of whether U.S. consumers trust real estate agents, according to an online survey of 1,147 adults conducted Oct. 30 by Choice Home Warranty using Google Consumer Surveys.
While roughly 4 in 10 (42.2 percent) of respondents ages 55 through 64 said they trust real estate agents, compared with 32.5 percent of all respondents and 27.7 percent of 35- to 44-year-olds. The survey also found variations by population density, with distrust of agents higher in rural areas (74.3 percent) than in urban areas (66 percent). Source: choicehomewarranty.com
