Eliza Solender is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. But it really bugs her when someone calls her a Realtor.
“What bothers me is that the person calling me a Realtor clearly does not see the difference between a residential or commercial real estate professional. Those of us who specialize in commercial real estate know there is a huge difference!” Solender says in an opinion piece published today by D Real Estate Daily.
“If you are in commercial real estate, never call yourself a Realtor,” she advises. Solender also has an axe to grind with commercial real estate professionals who have only a real estate salesperson license but call themselves “brokers.” Source: dmagazine.com.
