FHFA seeks $6 billion from JPMorgan over faulty mortgages

The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), the government overseer of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, is seeking a minimum of $6 billion from JPMorgan Chase over faulty mortgages the bank and its affiliates sold to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac during the end of the housing boom, Bloomberg reported.
