Hawaii homes for sale with the phrase “dream home” in their listing remarks have an average price tag of $2.995 million, the highest in the country, according to HomeFinder.com data cited by The Wall Street Journal.

Florida “dream homes” may only be the third priciest, according to HomeFinder.com, but they are by far the largest.

They sprawl an average 8,360 square feet, close to twice as much as the state with the second-largest average size, New York.
