While more than half of homeowners are planning remodeling projects for the spring, homeowners are expected to spend less on them this year, according to Zillow.
Fifty-nine percent of homeowners are planning remodels this spring, but they’re expected to spend only an average of $700, the lowest amount of spending predicted by the Zillow Digs Home Design Trend Report since Zillow introduced the report.
The report also found that built-in cabinets, cubbies with baskets or trays, and repurposed antique furniture are the three biggest home organization trends this spring.
Zillow Digs is an image-centric Web and iPad platform that provides inspirations and estimates for remodeling projects for bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, gardens and living rooms.
