HomeVestors of America Inc. says it continues to “aggressively pursue infringers” of its “We Buy Ugly Houses” and “HomeVestors” trademarks. The company says it initiated 16 enforcement actions against alleged infringers during the last three months, and has already prevailed in half of those proceedings.
HomeVestors says it also pursued and won three Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (“UDRP”) proceedings against parties that incorporated HomeVestors trademarks into domain names, gaining ownership of those domains.
