Professionals working in real estate, rentals and leasing have the lowest obesity rate among workers in 19 job categories, according to a study by the American Journal of Preventive Medicine published this month.
About 20 percent of real estate pros are obese compared with more than 35 percent of those in public administration, the category with the highest obesity rate.
The study found that those who worked for more than 40 hours per week or were exposed to a hostile work environment were significantly more likely to be obese, The Atlantic reported.
