Prudential A.S. de Movellan Real Estate, a 70-agent brokerage based in Lexington, Ky., will rebrand in February as a member of Warren Buffett’s new franchise network, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services.
The company — which next year will begin doing business as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices de Movellan Properties — is one of a number of Prudential Real Estate affiliates that are transitioning to the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand.
HomeServices of America Inc. — the nation’s second-largest residential real estate brokerage company — is the majority owner of HSF Affiliates LLC, the operator of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Prudential Real Estate and Real Living Real Estate franchise networks.
Last week HomeServices of America announced it will acquire Chicago-based Prudential Rubloff Properties, and will merge the 860-agent firm with Koenig & Strey Real Living Real Estate to create the second-biggest brokerage in the region. The company’s 1,600 agents will rebrand next spring as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group.
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices currently has affiliates operating in California, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Missouri, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, West Virginia and Washington. Source: businesswire.com
