Las Vegas lawyer gets 7 years for role in mortgage fraud scheme involving 144 homes

A Las Vegas lawyer who was accused of participating in a mortgage fraud scheme involving 144 homes and $53 million in loans has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison and ordered to pay $30 million in restitution.
