Most Americans bullish on home prices

Just over half of Americans, 55 percent, believe home prices will rise in the next year, compared with 27 percent who believe they will stay the same and 9 percent who believe they will go down, according to a monthly survey from Bankrate.com. Most people (57 percent) with higher net worth think prices will go up, compared with nearly half (46 percent) with a lower net worth who think they will decline.
