The National Association of Realtors is tracking the impacts of federal government shutdowns for brokers and agents, including expectations of delays in processing FHA and VA mortgage loans, and a shutdown of the USDA mortgage program.

For now, there are no impacts on the National Flood Insurance Program or the government’s Making Home Affordable program, including HAMP and HAFA. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and their regulator, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, are not affected by the shutdown. Source: realtor.org
