Nearly half of $300M Detroit aid to fight housing blight

Of $300 million the Obama administration has committed to help the bankrupt city of Detroit right itself financially, nearly $150 million will be set aside for blight eradication, building demolition, housing rehabilitation, affordable housing, and other community revitalization and neighborhood stabilization efforts.
