A new book by Fortune Executive Editor Leigh Gallagher that explores the future of the housing landscape has recently hit the shelves.
“The End of the Suburbs: Where the American Dream is Moving” argues that long-simmering problems accentuated by the housing crisis are causing Americans to gravitate towards more urban communities.
Zillow CEO Spencer Rascoff said in a review that Gallagher “asks all the right questions and comes up with surprising conclusions in this sweeping discussion of the future of the suburb.”
“Gallagher foretells a new world order where the conveniences of the urban lifestyle rewire our understanding of the American dream,” he added.
