Visitors to StreetEasy’s Miami, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., sites are being told that operators of the listings site have “realigned our focus to the New York metro market and therefore have elected to sunset” those sites, which will no longer be active after Oct. 11.
“As you likely know, Zillow acquired StreetEasy in September,” the boilerplate message posted on each site reads. “With Zillow’s strong national presence as well as #1 ranking in (insert city being closed), this has become a great opportunity for our partners.”
Curbed has also reported that StreetEasy co-founder Michael Smith is no longer running day-to-day operations of the site. Source: streateasy.com
