Peter Strand — who has worked as a technology consultant and franchise salesperson for some big names like Prudential Real Estate and Re/Max of New England — is relocating from Minneapolis to become president of Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty, a leading luxury brokerage in the Lake Tahoe market, which straddles the California-Nevada border.

Sierra Sotheby’s International Realty’s 35 agents serve Lake Tahoe from offices in Incline Village and Zephyr Cove, Nev., and Olympic Valley, Calif.

The brokerage is part of Majestic Realty, which owns and operates Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty serving metropolitan Denver, Boulder, Breckenridge and Vail Valley, Colo.; and Summit Sotheby’s International Realty serving Park City, Deer Valley and Salt Lake City, Utah. The combined firm has 400 broker and support staff associates, and is on track to close more than 4,000 transactions valued at nearly $3 billion in 2013. Source:
