A new agent rating and review site, RankMyAgent.com, says it will allow users to search for agents by neighborhood in major Canadian metros and view user-generated evaluations based on the agent’s experience, professionalism, neighborbood and property knowledge, negotiation skills, communication skills and contact expectations.
To ensure “factual and unbiased reviews,” the site employs a review team that monitors each evaluation, and follows up on flagged reviews to verify that the reviewer did have an actual transaction and experience working with the agent.
While a number of real estate sites offer user-generated agents ratings and reviews, attempts to let consumers search for agents using performance-based statistics like the number of listings represented and sold or list-to-sale-price ratio have generated some controversy. Source: newswire.ca.
