Financial adviser Wealthfront has chosen Seattle-based real estate brokerage Redfin, short-term rental site Airbnb, and e-signature company DocuSign (the latter two based in San Francisco) as some of the “100 Career Launching Technology Companies” to feature in its first e-book, the 2013 Silicon Valley Career Guide.
Those included had to be “midsize high-growth companies.”
“We believe these are the companies that will generate the greatest career opportunities and the most significant potential for equity wealth in the near future,” Wealthfront said.
“Specifically, we sought out private companies we think are on a rapid growth trajectory and that are likely to continue that growth for at least a few years and that have revenues of at least $20 million but no more than $300 million.”
Other selected firms include Dropbox, Evernote, HootSuite, Pinterest and WordPress.
