Land prices are up 55.7 percent from a year ago in Las Vegas, to $183,813 an acre, and property that was valued at only $100,000 to $150,000 an acre can now command as much as $300,000 an acre, the Las Vegas Business Press reports. Brokers say there are still deals to be had — before the housing bust, land prices could surpass $1 million an acre — but mainly in “B” markets like northwest Las Vegas and south Henderson.
