Donald Trump has spent more than $1 million on electoral research for a potential presidential run, the New York Post reports.
True dat, says U.S. News & World Report — but the research was conducted when The Donald was considering running in 2012.
“It’s way too early for anyone to be talking about a [2016] presidential run,” Trump adviser Michael Cohen tells the magazine’s Washington Whispers blog.
Hedging Trump’s bets, Cohen says the old research “remains relevant and useful should he elect to run for 2016.” Source: usnews.com.
