Trulia co-founder Sami Inkinen wasn’t part of merger talks with Zillow because for more than a month he and his wife, Meredith Loring, have been rowing across the Pacific Ocean.

The couple are about 300 miles from completing the 2,700-mile journey from California to Hawaii, and could set the record for the fastest crossing, The New York Times’ DealBook blog reports. Source: dealbook.nytimes.com.
