Zillow Inc. has completed its acquisition of New York City-based real estate website StreetEasy for $50 million in cash, the company said today.

StreetEasy co-founder Michael Smith said in a statement that the acquisition means StreetEasy will be able to leverage Zillow’s “expertise, knowledge and resources” to continue to bring New Yorkers real estate data.

Zillow announced its plans to acquire StreetEasy, which launched in 2006 and now employs 34, on Aug. 19. Source: globenewswire.com.
