Trulia, HotPads win Webby Awards

For-sale home search and marketing site Trulia.com, and for-sale and rental property search site HotPads.com received awards in an annual online competition.

Trulia received the 2009 Webby Award in the real estate category -- the awards are selected by a body of hundreds of individuals, collectively known as The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.

And HotPads.com was named the "People's Voice" winner in the real estate category. This award is determined by the online community.

Among the judging criteria: content, structure and navigation, aesthetic, functionality, interactivity, and overall experience of the site (see story).

LuxuryRealEstate.com also won a Webby. LuxuryRealEstate.com is the website of Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate - an international organization which includes many of the world's top luxury real estate companies and estate agents.
