Agents get discounted subscriptions to foreclosure info
By Inman News, Thursday, July 9, 2009.RE/MAX International agents will receive discounted subscriptions allowing them to access a database of more than 1.8 million default, auction and bank-owned properties compiled by RealtyTrac under a partnership between the two companies.
Visitors to remax.com will also be able to include properties in the RealtyTrac database in their listing searches, although not all homes in the database are for sale and access to some details like addresses are witheld from nonsubscribers.
RE/MAX says its agents are "uniquely qualified" to manage foreclosures and distressed properties as more earned the Certified Distressed Property Expert designation than any other national real estate network-- RE/MAX's chairman and founder, Dave Liniger, is a member of the Certified Distressed Property Experts Board of Advisors.
The partnership between RE/MAX and RealtyTrac will allow agents to take the training the they've received on distressed properties, and "leverage" the RealtyTrac foreclosure information and inventory on remax.com to help buyers and sellers make informed decisions, said Kristi Graning, senior vice president, information technology and eBusiness for RE/MAX International, in a press release.

Just another good reason why I'm with RE/MAX. When the market is slow, other Brokerages hunker-down.
RE/MAX, on the other hand, sees opportunity, and makes savvy business deals when it counts most!
