Windermere Real Estate today announced the opening of a new Las Vegas-area office, the first Windermere office in the rapidly growing region and the second in the state of Nevada.

The Windermere Prestige Properties office is located at 701 North Green Valley Parkway in Henderson, which is just south of Las Vegas. The focus of this office will be on all areas of residential, resale and new construction, as well as the growing second-home market. There are currently 20 full-time agents with plans to more than double that number in the coming months.

“Our favorable climate, strong local economy and variety of regional amenities provide the Las Vegas region with a dynamic and constantly evolving housing market with a great deal of movement,” said Robyn Yates, founding partner and managing broker of the Windermere Prestige Properties office.

Yates brings a diverse background of management and marketing experience to this new office. After opening the Green Valley office of Dyson and Dyson Real Estate in 2000, Yates was responsible for recruiting more than 50 agents to the office and coaching her sales team. Her multi-faceted career has included top management positions at several private country clubs and allowed her to conduct professional sales training programs with Fortune 500 companies across the United States.

The Windermere Prestige Properties owner and management partnership also includes Yates’ husband Dennis, a certified public accountant, general contractor, and licensed Nevada State real estate agent; Heidi Kasama, a CPA and licensed real estate agent in both Nevada and Washington State; and Kasama’s husband, H. Peter Kasama, an international business and investment consultant having previously owned and operated his own public accounting practice for nearly 20 years.

Windermere Real Estate is a residential real estate network with nearly 6,000 associates and more than 220 offices serving neighborhoods in Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia.
