RealEC Technologies, whose products aim to facilitate the origination, servicing, statusing and closing of real estate transactions, today announced the appointment of company board member Dwayne Walker as president.

As president, Walker will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operating responsibilities of RealEC Technologies. Reporting directly to Dwayne Walker is Jason Nadeau, the company’s chief information officer and chief operating officer. Nadeau will continue to oversee the company’s information technology strategy and day-to-day operations.

Walker has been a member of the RealEC board of directors since 2002 and has enjoyed a successful history with the Fidelity National Financial family of companies, beginning with his role on the Micro General Corp. Board of Directors in 1999. Additionally, Walker served as president and chief operating officer for Fidelity National Information Solutions from July 2002 until the company was acquired by majority-owner Fidelity National Financial. In October 2003, Walker was named president of Fidelity Business Systems, a division of Fidelity National Financial.

Walker has also held senior executive positions with Microsoft Corp., US Connect, TRW, Hughes Aircraft and DMR Group.

RealEC Technologies is a majority-owned subsidiary of Fidelity National Financial, with significant equity ownership by Stewart Title Co. and LandAmerica Financial Group.
