Inland Western Retail Real Estate Trust acquired its second and third properties in Texas with the purchases of La Plaza del Norte shopping center in San Antonio and MacArthur Crossing shopping center in Irving. Inland Western also recently acquired the Metro Square shopping center in Annapolis, Md.

The total value of the transactions was not disclosed.

La Plaza del Norte, 125 Northwest Loop 410, comprises 320,362 square feet and is anchored by a 58,000-square-foot Best Buy and a 65,017-square-foot Oshman’s sporting goods store. Its other major retailers include a 29,847-square-foot Bealls department store, a 28,438-square-foot Ross Dress for Less, a 23,229-square-foot Office Max, a 22,000-square-foot Designer Shoe Warehouse, an 18,900-square-foot Cost Plus World Market, a 13,650-square-foot PetsMart, and a 12,000-square-foot David’s Bridal. Pearle Vision, Game Stop, Supercuts and other various retailers are also tenants at La Plaza del Norte.

Janine Roberts of DRA Advisors LLC, and attorney Natalie Pishanidar of Blank Rome LLP represented the seller, DDRA Community Centers Four LP.

Mac Arthur Crossing, located at the southeast corner of Mac Arthur Boulevard and LBJ Highway (Interstate 635), is a 110,975-square-foot community shopping center anchored by Stein Mart.

Other tenants at the center include Firestone, Radio Shack, Quizno’s, Blockbuster, Sally Beauty and more.

Fehmi Karahan and attorney R.J. Grogan of Grogan & Brawnew P.C. of Dallas represented the seller, Mac Arthur Crossing Shopping Centers LP.

Metro Square shopping center is a 61,817-square-foot shopping center in Maryland anchored by a Shoppers Food Warehouse. Other tenants at this center include AZZ Cleaners and Great Clips.

Inland Western paid United Realty Companies LLC $11.3 million for Metro Square. Peter Bonistia and attorney Alan Garubba of Elysian Partners LP of Lemoyne, Penn represented United Realty Cos.

Inland represented itself in the transactions.
