RealtyU on Thursday announced it had concluded a strategic alliance with The School of Mortgage Lending (SOML) to add 20 new mortgage courses to its educational network.

SOML is a provider of mortgage-lending educational content, offering correspondence-based online learning, published materials for Instructor Lead, platform delivery education, and mortgage broker continuing education courses in 80 percent of the states requiring continuing education.

“The addition of 20 (28) new mortgage course offerings further extends RealtyU schools’ ability to offer more and better education to the real estate industry,” said RealtyU Chairman Stefan Swanepoel.

SOML has already gained approval of its courses for real estate continuing education in the state of New York, and has 12 other states poised to grant equal approval in the ensuing months.

The RealtyU network consists of 37 accredited schools that serve almost all 50 states in the United States and five provinces in Canada. Collectively, RealtyU includes approximately 280 licensed educators that offer more than 5,000 different courses and programs to the real estate industry each year.
