Advantis/GVA negotiated the sale of a 64,846-square-foot office building in Washington, D.C.

The value of the transaction was $16 million.

L & Vermont Partnership sold the property, located at 1100 Vermont Ave. NW, to BET Investments, a private equity fund based in Pennsylvania.

Constructed in 1964, the 12-story office building was 100 percent leased to the General Services Administration – Department of Justice, at the time of sale.

Dek Potts and Jim Meisel of the Washington, D.C., office of Advantis/GVA exclusively represented the seller and were the sole brokers involved in the successful sale of the building.

Advantis/GVA is a full-service real estate company that leases, manages and sells office, industrial, retail and other commercial real estate projects and sites.
