The Dolben Company has bought Woodview at Randolph, an apartment community in Randolph, Mass., from BlackRock Realty for $36 million.

Woodview at Randolph is a 310-unit, garden-style apartment community. It’s close to a number of highways and less than one mile from the Holbrook/Randolph MBTA station. Randolph is a mature, densely populated middle-class bedroom community 10 miles south of downtown Boston.

Built in 1966 and 1971, Woodview is a Class B complex with nine three-story buildings and a single-story maintenance building on 11.6 acres. The property has been extensively renovated over the past three years at a cost of $3.5 million.

The apartments have new kitchens and baths with a new Whirlpool appliance package. Community amenities include a swimming pool with sundeck, tennis court, picnic area and laundry facilities in each building. Unit features include decks or patios and central air conditioning in most units.

The sale was handled by CB Richard Ellis/New England, which represented the seller, BlackRock Realty, and procured the buyer.
