Spaulding & Slye has signed a new, long-term lease and has begun construction on 55,000 square feet of class A office space on three floors at Equity Office’s One Post Office Square in Boston. This relocation and expansion will serve as the new Boston headquarters for Jones Lang LaSalle.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

“This is indicative of our current growth pattern,” said Spaulding & Slye Regional Director Kyle B. Warwick. “Our new office location and build-out will set the tone for future expansion as we complete the merge with Jones Lang LaSalle.”

The firm, relocating from 255 State St. in Boston, will occupy floors 26, 27 and a portion of 28, in the summer of 2006.

One Post Office Square is a 42-story, 766,129-square-foot, first-class office tower in the heart Boston’s Financial District at the corner of Pearl and Milk Streets overlooking Post Office Square Park.

Spaulding & Slye, a member of the Jones Lang LaSalle group, is a commercial real estate services and investment company delivering full-scale development, leasing, management, investment sales, construction, and structured finance services globally.
