The deadline is Friday, June 30, for candidates interested in applying for the CEO position at the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials, an international federation of real estate regulatory agencies.

Candidates should have experience in business or association management, public administration, real estate-related activities, professional or occupational regulation, or contract management.

The group’s outgoing CEO, Craig Cheatham, has accepted a position with The Realty Alliance, an organization of 67 brokers who collectively represent about 95,600 sales associates in 2,620 offices in the U.S. and Canada. Members’ companies generate about $300 billion worth of residential sales each year.

ARELLO, founded in 1930, has formed a search committee to assist the hiring process. The association’s CEO serves as chief of staff, corporate secretary and advisor to the association; recommends and participates in the formulation of new policies; and makes decisions within parameters set by individuals and/or groups within the association, according to an announcement about the job opening.

The CEO also organizes, directs, supports and coordinates the staff, consultants and vendors, as well as the programs, services, products, resources and activities of the association; serves as a catalyst for communication, decision making, cooperation and participation; and serves as CEO of ARELLO’s supporting foundation, according to the announcement.

Those interested can contact the ARELLO CEO Search Committee, ATTN: ARELLO President-Elect Fran Whitley c/o North Carolina Real Estate Commission, 1313 Navaho Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609. ARELLO headquarters can also be reached by telephone at (334) 260-2902, by fax at (334) 260-2903 or by e-mail at mailbox@arello.org.
