Overnight real estate rates slide

30-year fixed rate at 6.07%; 10-year Treasury yield at 4.94%

Long-term mortgage interest rates were down Wednesday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield increased to 4.94 percent. The 30-year fixed-rate average dipped to 6.07 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate slipped to 5.79 percent. The 1-year adjustable was up at 5.41 percent. The 30-year Treasury bond yield increased to 5.05 percent. Rates are current as of 7:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
