The National Association of Realtors’ board of directors on Monday installed new officers for 2007, with Pat Vredevoogd Combs, a Realtor from Grand Rapids, Mich., taking on the role of association president.

A Realtor since 1971, Vredevoogd is president of Coldwell Banker-AJS-Schmidt, a residential brokerage company in Cascade, Mich. She has served several former roles with the association, including NAR president-elect, first vice president and National Fundraising Chair for the Realtors Political Action Committee, among others.

Richard F. “Dick” Gaylord, a Realtor from Long Beach, Calif., is 2007 president-elect. Gaylord served as NAR first vice president in 2006, and president of the California Association of Realtors in 2000. A Realtor for 29 years, Gaylord is a broker with RE/MAX Real Estate Specialists, a residential and commercial company in Long Beach.

Charles McMillan, a Realtor from Irving, Texas, is 2007 first vice president. A Realtor for more than 20 years, McMillan is director of realty relations and principal broker for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Dallas-Fort Worth. He has twice served as NAR regional vice president of Region X that includes Texas and Louisiana. He served as president of the Texas Association of Realtors in 1998.

Bruce F. Wolf, a Realtor from Littleton, Colo., returns for his second year as treasurer in 2007. A Realtor for more than 30 years, he is broker-owner of Prestige Real Estate Group LLC, in Englewood. He was president of the Colorado Association of Realtors in 1998.

PeggyAnn McConnochie, a Realtor from Juneau, Alaska, is 2007 vice president and liaison to committees, a position she also held in 2002.

McConnochie, a Realtor for 25 years, is president and broker of ACH Consulting (Alaska Coast Homes Inc.), a real estate consulting company. She has been a member of the NAR board of directors since 1995, and served as regional vice president for the states of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.

Monte D. Newman, a Realtor for 29 years from Hobbs, N.M., is 2007 vice president and liaison to government affairs, a position he also held in 2005. Newman is broker-owner of Newman & Co. and owner of PMR LLC Real Estate Management Services in Hobbs. A former mayor of Hobbs, he has been a member of NAR’s board of directors since 1995, and was regional vice president for the states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming.
