Panoramic Interests recently sold a seven-property apartment portfolio in Berkeley, Calif., for an undisclosed price. The portfolio, which includes 418 apartment units located in the heart of downtown, was purchased by Equity Residential. The properties comprise 255,764 square feet of net rentable area, 40,048 square feet of commercial space and 255 parking spaces. The properties include: Acton Courtyard -- 1370 University Ave.Built in 2003, this five-story, mixed-use building with two landscaped rooftop gardens and terraces and a courtyard contains 71 residential units comprising 47,134 square feet and 62 parking spaces. Tenants in the 6,703 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor of Acton Courtyard include the Bread Workshop, Books Out Loud, SignCo, Golden Key Piano School and Verizon.
