Charles Dunn Co., a partner of GVA worldwide, this week announced it negotiated the sale and purchase of a small retail building in West Hollywood, Calif., for approximately $10 million.

The property is an 8,882-square-foot building located at 8540 Melrose Ave., and the transaction also included the adjacent parking lot located at 547 W. Knoll St.

The buyers, Louis and Ben Weinstein, purchased the property from a private investor for more than $1,000 a square foot.

According to a press statement, the property was formerly occupied by The Heritage Book Store, “an internationally renowned, antiquarian book shop.”
