Overnight interest rates rise

30-year fixed rate at 5.68%; 10-year Treasury yield at 3.54%

Long-term mortgage interest rates increased Monday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield also increased to 3.54 percent. The 30-year fixed-rate average climed to 5.68 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate increased to 5.26 percent. The 1-year adjustable rate slipped to 5.65 percent. The 30-year Treasury bond yield was up at 4.35 percent. Rates and bonds are current as of 7:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
